INTERIOR & EXTERIOR DECORATING

Painting and Decorating Across North West London, North London, East London and Essex

  • Exterior walls in masonry paint of an appropriate type for the substrate.
  • Render and pebble dash painting with a paint specified to suit the finish.
  • Windows and doors in timber, including the preparation of any softened or rotten sections before painting.
  • Soffits and bargeboards, where they have been painted previously rather than replaced in uPVC.
  • Garden walls, railings, gates and fencing.

Do you carry out both interior and exterior painting and decorating?

Yes. We handle interior work from a single room repaint through to whole-house redecoration, and exterior work including masonry, render, timber windows and doors, soffits, bargeboards, garden walls and fencing — across North West London, North London, East London and Essex.

Why does preparation matter so much?

Preparation is the part that takes the time and the part the finished result depends on. Filling, sanding, caulking, priming and applying the right number of coats is what separates a decoration that holds up for ten years from one that needs attention again in two.

What paint brands and materials do you use?

We use materials from established manufacturers such as Dulux, Crown, Farrow & Ball and Little Greene, along with the equivalent specialist suppliers for exterior and trade work. We recommend the right product for the job and the substrate rather than the cheapest in stock.

Can you paint the outside of my property at any time of year?

Exterior decorating depends on the weather and the season, because the surfaces are exposed between coats. We plan the work around suitable conditions and use the correct primer and top coat for the substrate so the finish lasts.

Do you repair surfaces before painting?

Yes. We make good plaster, woodwork and other surfaces before decorating, and on exterior timber we prepare any softened or rotten sections before painting rather than covering over them.

Can decorating be combined with other building work?

Yes. A significant share of our decorating is the final stage of a larger project such as a new bathroom, a new kitchen, an extension or a refurbishment. Where we have carried out the building work, the decoration sequences cleanly behind it with the trades coordinated by one team.

Do you protect furniture and floors, and is the quote free?

We provide free, no-obligation quotations. Dust sheets and lining tape go down properly, the work runs to the agreed schedule, and the site is left clean at the end of each day.
